Removable Bollards Offer Access with a Modern Look

The model R-7901 removable bollard features a domed cap with three annular bands. Striping was added to this removable bollard for additional highlighting. New styles of removable bollards allow easy access with an attractive, contemporary appearance.

Bollards – posts used to control vehicular and pedestrian traffic – may require removal to allow access by emergency or maintenance vehicles. Reliance Foundry’s new removable bollard designs can be manually removed or replaced without special tools – providing pathway definition that allows for changing accessibility.

Reliance Foundry’s removable bollard model R-7901 features a domed cap with three annular bands – blending stylistically with a variety of architectural and landscaping motifs. This model is available in steel with a spectrum of durable, hammer-textured, powder-coated finishes, and is also offered in stainless steel as Reliance Foundry’s removable model R-8901 bollard.

Several bollard accessories are available, including two different padlocks and a variety of removable bollard receivers. One version of the in-ground receiver that holds the R-7901 bollard in place is equipped with a hinged lid that provides a dual function:
  • Model R-7901 removable steel bollard mounted in receiver, showing cover in locked position When the bollard is in place, the lid serves as a hasp to accept a padlock and secure the post.
  • When the bollard is removed, the lid lies flush with the surrounding pavement to eliminate tripping hazards.
